Integrating smoothly into the same career could be challenging and many think that this fresh start will actually aid them in starting a new business from scratch. This is especially true in Canada where 2011 was declared the “year of the entrepreneur”. A lot of resources are present for newcomers to start their own business. This particular resource is for young newcomers who are between the ages of 18 and 34.
Its called the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) and their tag line is “we can help you bring a business idea to life!” They will be involved in your business idea from pre-launch to growth and expansion. CYBF supports young entrepreneurs throughout the life-cycle of their businesses by providing pre and post-launch coaching, financing, mentoring and business resources. They currently seven programs running out of which one program is specially catered for the Newcomers to Canada.
